The optimal way to store jewellery is to keep each piece in a separate pouch or box. GEMSTONE JEWELLERY
Gemstones and diamonds are particularly delicate and require caution when using them. Impacts, hits, and shocks damage any gemstone, including diamonds. It is best to avoid impact with hard surfaces and contact with abrasive substances. It is important to remember that gemstones can scratch other gemstones and even diamonds can scratch each other. For this reason, it is advisable to avoid to stacking rings and bracelets over each other. Diamonds can be cleaned with a mild solution of six parts water to one part ammonia, applied with a soft brush. Perfumes, detergents and abrasive are very nocive for pearls, especially natural pearls. Try to avoid spraying perfume over them. It is possible to wipe pearls, emeralds, rubies and sapphire jewels with a damp cloth after each time they are worn.
